Biography
Melissa B. Lombardo is the founder of Write, Heal, Thrive® LLC and a trauma-responsive author, speaker, and workshop facilitator. She is a certified meditation instructor, experienced sexual assault crisis advocate, and AWA Affiliate, offering creative writing workshops to both in-person and online communities. Melissa is an active member of the Jane Doe No More Survivor Speak Outreach team, CT Poetry Society, Author’s Guild, AWA Northeast Chapter, and the CT Authors and Publishers Association (CAPA), where she serves as Membership Director and co-chair of the CAPA CT Book Festival. She is also Director at Toivo Center for Holistic Healing, a program of Advocacy Unlimited Inc. Known for her compassionate presence and powerful storytelling, Melissa blends lived experience with professional expertise to engage and inspire diverse audiences. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
