Membership Benefits

Monthly Meetings: Held at various locations throughout Connecticut, these gatherings offer members opportunities to network and learn from expert speakers, publishers, and local authors.

Special Events: Throughout the year, CAPA hosts signature events including our March anniversary celebration, summer picnic, December holiday gathering, and our annual Book Festival.

The Authority Newsletter: CAPA’s monthly newsletter features industry insights, writing and publishing resources, marketing guidance, and updates on upcoming events.

Platforms for Discovery: Through Publishers Marketplace and CAPA’s social media channels, member forums, and member director members gain visibility and promotional opportunities for their work.

Annual Book Festival: A signature event that allows members to connect directly with readers, showcase their books, and generate sales.
